They are.Heavy drones are slow and easy to hit.
Did you ever concider to tank them while blowing them out of the sky?
Get into an interceptor if you want to avoid getting hit.Cruisers are for fighting and fighting back! ;]

A single T1 cruiser *SHOULD* not be able to stand up to 5 Heavy Drones.
What ships can use 5 Heavy Drones?
That is right - nothing smaller than a Battleship!
And what logic is there in that? My t1 cruiser should be able to stand up to a Battleship!
You will get wtfpwnd in any T1 cruiser vs a Battelship, whether they use hybrids, missiles, lasers, projectiles or drones... or something is wrong ;]
Learn to kill the drones instead - more fun ;]

Are you saying that Heavy Drones travel as fast to their target and do instant damage as Cruise Missiles do?
Are you saying that Cruise missiles can be targetted and destroyed by your guns or your own set of lighter drones?
Are you saying that a lost drone is as easy to replace as it is to load next cruisemissile into the launcher?

A gang of cruisers can kill Heavy drones pretty easily.
Send a swarm of Medium or light drones to kill his heavies
Light and heavy missiles makes short work of them. And I think a Thorax could kill a webbed Ogre with two volleys of Heavy Blaster violence.
If you want to add modules to counter sertain weapons, Tracking disruptors and such - then I think a reasonable argument would be: smartbomb them
Although I will not touch smartbombs. I rather just web them and blast them.
